Concept Laptop Flips Through Data

Many complain that e-readers could never compare to the satisfaction of flipping through a book. The “Real Notebook” laptop concept was created with these people in mind. This design provides all the features of a laptop but has dual monitors, one which is sturdy that is used as a touch screen keyboard and the other which is flexible that bends to simulate the flipping of pages.

Fujitsu Design Award

In January the “Fujitsu Design Award 2011″ was launched with the theme “A LIFE with Future Computing”. Over 3000 participants submitted concept designs of what our future computers will look like. Here are the winners, very imaginative designs by some talented artists.

Robot Teddy Bears

Fujitsu’s “Social Robot Bear Cubs” made a showing at CEATEC 2010 in all their cuteness. The furry little ones where created to help take care of the elderly.
The teddies are equipped with a nose camera which allows the them to detect faces and respond to movements e.g. If you wave at a Teddy he’ll wave back. Also 13 touch sensors around the body making them able to respond to physical stimuli. They have a set of 300 different different movements in response to user interaction.
